Finale de la Coupe Stanley

 (save the cheerleader, save the Cup???)

 

 

The Stanley Cup Final will begin on Saturday, televised on Versus.  What that means for most of the country is that we’ll be able to start watching the Final with games three and four on NBC, and games five through seven on NBC if necessary.  Can’t we at least get the Stanley Cup Final on THIS NETWORK?  After the jump, my thoughts on the series between the Red Wings and Penguins.

Phoenix Rising

 Yesterday the Phoenix Coyotes signed there 2007 1st round pick Kyle Turris.  Turris was drafted third overall and is expected to make his debut on Thursday.  I had my doubts about the direction of this franchise a year ago however Wayne Gretzky has done a fabulous job with this team and the Yotes are clearly a team on the rise for the 08/09 season.
